    Great post! You had a lot of informational content. I enjoyed listening to all of the health benefits, a lot of them I didn’t realize could be a benefit like clearer skin! I also think a name would tie this pitch together! I would love to see you use your facial expressions or hands to show your interest of the subject.

    Hi Grace!
    I really think you did a great job with your sales pitch. Your tone and variation made you seem very interested in the topic. You did a great job of including statistics and facts to back up your need. The only thing that I think needs improvement next time is adding the title of your company. It would really tie everything together.

    Very great elevator pitch! I really liked the emotion you used in the video. It was very effective in conveying your point. I could tell you were a little nervous at first, but quickly got over it and greatly improved the pitch. You should try to include more hand motions to help show the audience what you are talking about. Content wise, everything was perfect and you did amazing with it.

    Wow Grace, great pitch (probably the best I have seen). You really convinced me that you believe in your solution. On top of that, your attitude drew me in and communicated to me that it was worthwhile to pay attention to your pitch. I also like how you appeal to a broad audience with your pitch. The "health" segment is often characterized as a single homogeneous market, but I think it pulls from multiple demographics. You did a good job with this by highlighting a diverse set of benefits.

Reading Reflection No. 3

What was the general theme or argument of the book? This time I read Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck. This book was about how what we believe about our own abilities and potential actually fuel our behavior and can predict our success. In the book Dweck talks about the power of our beliefs, both our conscious thoughts and unconscious thoughts, and how changing them can profoundly impact our lives. She shares two types of mindsets, the fixed mindset and the growth mindset. According to Dweck, a fixed mindset assumes that our character, intelligence, and creativity can't change in any way. This type of mindset is characterized by striving for success and avoiding failure at all costs. A growth mindset, however, thrives on challenge and sees failure as an opportunity to grow and stretch your existing abilities. 1) What was the general theme or argument of the book? I read How To Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big by Scott Adams. This book is about learning how to invite failure, embrace it, and then use it to your advantage. In the book, Adams talks about how throughout his life he has found unlikely success within the context of his most embarrassing failures. One of the best strategies he shares in the book is that it serves you well to study the ways of others who have made it big or that you wish to be like, and learn from there experiences to help you form your own strategies and special tricks.
